List Building - Setting a Goal To Get More Subscribers

When you start with the goal setting process you will want to limit the ways to reach your goal to just one or two things. So even though you could be using Social Media, writing articles, using offline advertising, public speaking, webinars, or many other activities in order to add subscribers to your list, you need to limit what area you will be working on to one or two areas to begin with. Otherwise you get too scattered. Limit your focus for a short time, you can always move on to some other list building technique after you have fully utilized the first one or two.

Next ask yourself, how much time will you spend doing the activities that are now a part of your plan? It is very important to set aside time everyday to reach your goals. You might want to schedule the same time each day to work. Mornings tend to be the time of day most people are more productive. You have to make time to work on your goal or you'll never get there. Scheduling a specific time to work also gives you a level of accountability.

Be sure to gather together any resources you might need before you start so that your work time is more productive. That being said, I'm not saying put everything off until you have absolutely everything in place. Procrastination will never get you to your goal. But if you have never tried to build your list using Pinterest, and that is what you want to use, then learn about it before you start your list building campaign.

Setting a definite start and stop date is very important. There has to be a way for you to know whether or not you have met your goal. You can not let the project linger on forever.

Lastly, if you do not reach the 100 new subscribers that you intended to reach, it is time to re-evaluate your goal. Be sure to make a note of what worked and what did not work. Did you reach or exceed you goal or did you fall short? Either way, learn from it and do more of the things that worked and less of the things that did not.

When you use the formula in this article you will know when you are finished whether you succeeded or not. You will also have the feedback you need to make your next list building campaign even more successful.
